About
My name is Hailie Allen & I teach English Language Development at Annie Camp Jr. High & MacArthur Jr. High.
I earned my B.S. in Psychology & my B.A. in World Languages & Cultures: Spanish from Arkansas State University. I began my career as a Spanish teacher and spent 6 years sharing my love of the language & culture with my students. In the summer of 2020, I completed a year of graduate coursework from Henderson State University & earned the "English as a Second Language" endorsement to my teaching license. I am a native of Jonesboro & I have a passion for travel & cultural immersion. I've lived, worked, & studied in Costa Rica & in Spain. My goal is that my students have a better understanding of, and appreciation for, cultures different from their own. Learning the language is a tool that will help to bridge those gaps. |
